STARTING THE NEW YEAR OFF THE RIGHT WAY

This post is purely a shameless plug.  Saveur Magazine publishes a 100 best/new trends in the foodie world issue
every January.  For Jan. 2010 they asked their readers to make submission on the various topics which Saveur picked
and I was one of the chosen submissions.  I wrote about Porchetta, that highly seasoned Italian version of Roast Pork.
The magazine is out now and I have the link to the story posted below.

This is especially exciting for me because I received the email about the inclusion the same day I started this blog
at the end of October.  AND,  I have been a subscriber of Saveur since its'inception in the late 90's.  Have every issue.
Later in the week I will post my Porchetta recipe for you all as I am making it for NewYears' Day dinner, Pork for Good
Luck...along with some Lentils... The Zinio.Com link will allow you to turn the pages of the magazine.  The Profile
picture is on pp. 14-15  and the Porchetta story, is on page 56.   You can also look at Saveurs' website:

This the profile shot in the magazine.  Deb was the photographer..at home in
our kitchen.

May nothing but good things come out of your kitchens and your homes...
may your hearth be full of health, happiness
may your families be blessed in 2010 with all the best that life has to offer...
and thank you for letting me come into your kitchens....more posting in 2010.

HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!!
